The “Grandfather of Soul” is dead.

Have you heard the news today?? – Well actually a few days back – but James Brown is dead. Although many people would like to say that he died several years ago – I believe it’s a true loss for the world – being without a man like Mr Sex Machine.

I had the pleasure to see him live back in the early 90’ties – on something called “Randers Rock”. Randers is a small and non-important city in Jutland – somehow out in the middle of now-where – and they still succeeded in convincing James Browns booking partners, that his presence was necessary.

Boy what a show – Cool sound, high on emotions – a full bunch of dancers / cheerleaders and an Artist who just want to make the best out of every performance.

I have no idea if a thing like “heaven and hell” does exist – and honestly, reading about his life – he belongs in both – He surely rocked my world.
