Skype and connections to the World

According to a recent article (Danish only) – 5% of the Danish Population have taken in Skype as the favorite IDD phone service, and it is estimated that these users are saving more than 90% on their standard IDD calls – based on standard fixed line services.


Well, honestly – this is no surprise. This is an excellent (kick ass if i might say) service provided, they have from day one exceeded the expectations and the services provided are top class.
Having used SKYPE for both IDD and SKYPE calls in both business and private, i cannot imagine what to do about it today.
Combined with a recent add on “VSKYPE.COM” – there is now also a similar client for video services – with an opportunity to both broadcast images (farewell MSN Messenger) and HELLO WORLD – in clear and excellent images.

Recently (and no surprise) Google joined the actions with Google Talk – a service i would like to use; if they had been the first one to the game. But IMHO – they are way to late with their offering – SKYPE has proved its value – and i am now a happy camper (subscriber to their services) – who wish all the success to SKYPE – and i wish that Google would decide either to team up with, or integrate with SKYPE services, since they really decide to proceed their fame and path towards success.
